ACSAS (Asian Consortium of South Asian Studies) include INDAS – South Asia Studies Program (Japan), Center of Indian Studies – Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), Institute of Indian Studies – Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (South Korea), South Asian Studies Program – Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, National University of Singapore (Singapore) and Institute for Indian and Southwest Asian Studies – Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (Vietnam). The Institute for Indian and Southwest Asian Studies (VIISAS), Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) was among the founding members of ACSAS since 2016. In 2020, the 4th ACSAS conference shall be organized in Hanoi, Vietnam on the theme “South Asia’s Linkages with East and Southeast Asia: Past and Present”.
